products and services such as mortgages, consumer and commercial loans, brokerage and investment services,
Savings Bank Life Insurance as well as retail and commercial checking and savings accounts.
People's United Wealth Management professionals provide investment, financial advisory and insurance services to
many of our clients. We provide investment and financial advisory services through our Wealth Management &
Trust and People's Securities, Inc. units and provide insurance services through our insurance subsidiary RC Knox
& Co.
Meeting the growth needs of businesses, large, mid-size, or small is the core of the Commercial Banking
division. Commercial Banking provides the following products and services: commercial and industrial loans,
commercial real estate loans, equipment finance and leasing, risk management, cash management, commercial
deposits, small business services, correspondent municipal banking and international services.
Demonstrate your in-depth understanding of accounting and finance concepts and techniques in the People's United
Finance division. Interpret our financial results and business indicators to identify and analyze trends. Provide

This area is key to ensuring that we have the technology in place to be productive and efficient and that our

This area is responsible for the direction of the bank's legal operations and for the compliance, legislative
affairs audit, loan review and asset quality functions at People's United. Individuals who are detail-oriented,
analytical and possess a business degree or, in some cases, a law degree, along with other types of compliance
certifications can excel in this area.
The Marketing Department is responsible for the development, planning, execution and management of the bank's
brand positioning, as well as product/channel acquisition, research and retention marketing programs. Market
Research designs, develops and executes qualitative and quantitative research to proactively drive business
strategy for the bank and to identify new or enhance existing market opportunities.
This area supports our branch system by partnering with the bank's ATM and Internet banking sales and service
distribution channels. The Administration Division is also responsible for many of the bank's back office
operations such as check processing and security functions
The objective of the Human Resources area is to build the capacity of managers and employees to engage
customers, which increases the bank's profitability. Our focus is on human resources, talent management,
executing our employee strategy - the Workplace of Choice Partnership, and providing opportunities for learning
and development through People's United Corporate University. Corporate Communications is a unit within Human
Resources that is charged with communicating People's United information to both internal and external audiences.
