Getting Started Is Simple!
You can open an account by completing the new account application and visiting a People's United branch. Once you've established an account, you can easily add features and make adjustments at anytime.

3 Easy Steps to Open Your Account 

1. Read the Customer Agreement, Privacy Notice and Business Continuity Disclosure
2. Complete and sign the New Discount Brokerage Account Application for a personal account OR the New Discount Brokerage Account Application for an entity account
3. Visit a People's United branch with your completed application, your driver's license and initial investment (check, security or transfer instructions)

Many of our forms may be printed by visiting our Forms Center. To transfer assets from another account, simply complete the account transfer form and bring it with you to the branch when opening your account with a copy of the most recent statement for the account(s) you are transferring and your application.
